Growing family

This family is about to add a new little one to the mix. I went to the session with mainly maternity in mind, but their little boy stole my heart. He was such a cute, curious, happy boy! The siblings will be about 18 months apart, just like my own little ones. :)

Little ballerina

Miss Ava was a wide eyed little 7 week old. She gave me some beautiful poses without complaint. Little Ava's mom had made the most adorable tutu that we just had to have Ava wear it and show it off. She'll make a beautiful little ballerina some day!

Little boys are made of puppy dog tails

I was ecstatic to be able to finally break out my boys hats to put on this little handsome guy. At 7 weeks old, Carter actually managed to sleep for part of the session for me, while keeping a watchful eye the rest of the time. Those yummy chubby cheeks are so pinchable!

Lashes that reach the heavens

One of the first things that I noticed while holding this little lady was her long, perfectly curled lashes. Miss Rachel was simply a sweetheart. After mama fed her and changed her, she was a happy camper for the rest of the session. She even gave me a smile! :)

On the move

Typically, at 8 days old, newborns are content just lying. Not Miss Lila. She was already trying to roll. It definitely made trying to pose her much more difficult, but she was a little trooper and played along a bit.

Little Miss Avery

At 14 days old, Baby Avery was super alert to everything we did. With the help of mama's calming touches, she gave us some darling shots. Congrats mom and dad on your new sweetheart!
